The dedicated individuals who guide Northant Union FC in our mission to build an inclusive football community
The initial founders of the club are Uduakobong Udoh, Hakeem Kareem, and Matthew Shode. Along the line, we have added two more important individuals (Ademola Adenekan and Phillip Pomroy) to the leadership roles.
This club started in Mid-June 2014 as a mere football kickabout with friends but grew to something spectacular with over 100+ members over time and still counting.
We look out for each other's welfare, seek job opportunities, discuss potential business ideas, and serve as a community for those without one. We seek to extend our support to the community as a whole by offering support where we can.
The leadership cabinet is a combination of the initial founders and valuable personnel who are designated to make decisions that coordinate the overall conduct of the team. This includes fixing matches, supplying equipment, generating rules that regulate the manner and expectations of the game, and sorting out external dealings with other teams.
The general team makes the day-to-day adaptations to fit our daily on-pitch activity—who plays where, what teams an individual gets chosen into, what protective football gears to use (e.g., shin-guards)—reporting to both their Captain as well as the referee.
